Soccer State Champs

On beautiful Friday afternoon at 5:00 the Varsity Soccer Team kicked off its State Championship game against Covenant Christian from Cumming.  The game was scoreless until the end of the 1^st half with Wes Williams putting one in for the Cougars.

From then on KHCS dominated the game Wes scoring two other goals and Tyler Wesley adding his own—sealing the victory 4-0.  GCAA State Champs!

Coach Williams was proud of the guys, “This team best demonstrates the tactics of strong possession soccer and outstanding defense of any team I have coached.”

Senior, Wes Williams was named MVP of the game!  Congratulations Cougars on your 5 straight State Championships!!  The Cougars will be graduating 5 seniors; Alex Atteberry, Eric Boley, Fassel Abraham, Tyler Wesley and Wes Williams.
