For Whose Benefit?
Evaluation = Accountability. Accountability = Excellence. So, who exactly does this new, regional accreditation benefit? Ultimately regional accreditation further enables and empowers students to a broader range of possibilities through:
- Experiencing ease in transferring credits from one school to another.
- Gaining greater access to federal loans, scholarships, postsecondary education and military programs that requirestudents attend an accredited institution.
- Experiencing their institution commitment to raising student performance and accountability.
Also, the accountability this accreditation process creates, the visionary evaluation it initiates benefits the faculty and staff, the leadership and the parents. It serves as a landmark to school leadership of who we are and who we are striving to be. It provides confidence to school parents that their school is pursuing the best possible education for their child.
Relentlessly pursuing excellence is expected of KHCS students. Parents can be proud that the KHCS leadership is doing the same.
