Classroom teachers help the computer teacher develop project-oriented programs to meet individual students' needs. Library time once a week for grades 1st-6th.

Elementary Athletics
Junior League Basketball (4th-6th Grade). Boys or Girls teams. Saturday morning games.

Elementary Fine Arts
KHCS participates in the Georgia Association of Christian Schools Fine Arts Competition.  Areas of competition include music, drama, speech, and arts & crafts.  5th and 6th Graders are also encouraged to audition for KHCS's Cougar Chorus which performs at the Fine Arts Competition.

Music
KHCS offers private 30-minute piano lessons on campus once a week. Band and Orchestra programs available after school as well.

Homework
For elementary students, assignments in all subjects are to be written in an assignment book.  Parental signatures in these assignment books assist the parent in knowing what assignments are due and assist the school in certifying that the parents have supervised the completion of the work.  Homework assignments are also available on the internet through InfoDirect.  Completed daily work, tests, and quizzes will be sent home every Tuesday with the student in order for parents to see and sign.
