Learning Disabilities

KHCS offers two programs to help students become independent and efficient learners.

1.  National Institute For Learning Disabilities (NILD)
Rather than learn compensatory techniques, students receive individual, intense educational therapy a few hours hours each week while mainstreaming classes.

2.  Essential Learning Systems (ELS)
The interactive computerized ELS program assists students in developing patterns of processing by stimulating the visual, auditory, and motor pathways in the brain through sight-sound patterns of words.
